Connie Helms founded Whittington Helms & Associates, LLC in January of 2006. Prior to this, she spent 25 years developing and implementing public relations and marketing communications programs for clients ranging from small nonprofit groups to international consumer products companies.

Her experience includes ten years with Crosby Marketing Communications where she served as vice president, public relations. Before, this she held senior level positions at Cohn & Wolfe, Earle Palmer Brown, and Richardson, Myers & Donofrio. She started her career at the Maryland Port Administration as editor of Port of Baltimore Magazine. She also served as director of development and communications for the YMCA of Greater Baltimore.

Connie graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in journalism and has an MBA from Loyola College. Accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, she is member of its Counselors Academy, past president of the Maryland Chapter and president-elect of the Annapolis and Anne Arundel Chapter. She also serves on the board of the Maryland Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.
