Jody Buffington Aud, APR, is the founder of The Prio Group, a virtual communications firm, located in Baltimore, Maryland. Her clients have included companies in the insurance, publishing, healthcare, technology and financial services industries, as well as several public education systems. She has over 20 years experience in strategic communications.

During her professional career, Jody was SVP of Corporate Communications for Magellan Health Services, a publicly traded, managed behavioral health care company. Before that, she was Manager of Community Relations for Baltimore County Public Schools, one of the nation's largest public school systems.

Jody spent over eight years as a director of public relations at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland. There, she directed employee communications, advertising, consumer relations, public affairs, and community relations.

Jody is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and has served two years as a national board member, as well as chairperson of the national Honors and Awards Committee. Locally, she has served as president and board member of PRSA's Maryland Chapter and has guest lectured at numerous universities and seminars. Jody is also co-author of a textbook chapter on corporate culture, in Excellence in Public Relations and Communications Management.
